Lil Gun In 7mm TCU

Hodgdon advertizes Lil gun as being ideally suited for small cases like .223 and 7mm TCU, However I can't seem to find a source for load data.  Is anybody using Lil Gun in 7mm TCU?  I want to try 120gr, 140gr, and 154gr bullets and need some starting loads and some idea of a max "do not exceed" load.  Thanks.

Ok I called Hodgdon this morning.  The reply I got was that the Lab was too busy since the aquired IMR and WW and GOEX to work on obsolete and unpopular cartridges like 7mm TCU :o  Soooooo, does anyone use quick load or Load from a Disc?  Does either have data for lil gun in 7 TCU?

Have you tried to find a powder equal in burn rate that does have a load data for 7 TCU ? If so maybe you could find a starting load.

 You could also find a round with same case capacity and develope a load starting with a safety margin. This is how wildcaters started in some cases years ago. I shot 7 TCU years ago and don't remember a suitable powder that you could get to much in the case.

LilGun is in the same burning range and utility as H110 and 2400 and is far too "quick" for full power loads with the heavier bullets in the 7TCU.  LilGun and other "pistol" type powders are suitable in some rifle rounds, such as .22 Hornet and .218 Bee, but have limited usefulness in larger capacity cartridges.  Powders such as H335, 748 and H4895 will be far more suitable for your needs in the 7TCU.
