This is the greatest liberty minded anti big government movie i've seen in decades. All the lib reviewers hate it. It's in limited release so it might be hard to find in your area. Trust me, you wont be disapointed

I want to see the movie also, but its not showing in my area. I'm hoping that it gets enough attention and viewers, that it will show everywhere. The book was very good.  Ayn Rand was very talented at writing, and her books reflected her views.
The liberals do hate Atlas Shrugged, because it goes against their ideas of making everyone equal, no matter what effort is put forth. It kind of crushes their idea of a socialist utopia.

Interestingly, despite its popularity and iconic status in literature, it was long considered a bad career move for a college professor to study it or publish about it academically. That may still be true. Most other books of the same stature have professors practically standing in line to do academic papers on them.

If you don't have time to read the 1000+ page book i suggest you read "the virtue of selfishness" her non fiction philosophy book. It's under 200 pages long. I have to warn you tho, it's university level English.
