Why is this an issue? I thought it was just something his political enemies cooked up to discredit it, but the issue just doesn't go away. Isn't somebody supposed to verify and prove citizenship before he can become president?

My big question is Why is this still an issue. Lesser question is How did this become an issue in the first place?

it is an issue because he continually acts shady about it. the dirty little secret is, he loves the whole distraction. it keeps people's eyes off of the real damage he is doing.

It became an issue, and remains one, because of fools. Thousands of people asked for and received copies of his Hawaii birth certificate before the local folks there stopped sending them out. Anyone who thinks he was not born in the US simply refuses to face reality. They are mostly the same folks who think he's Muslim. They also think there are black helicopters circling their houses at night and they wear tin foil hats so Big Brother can't read their thoughts....

Some folks feel a need to see conspiracies everywhere. They can't find any facts to make them feel better so they come up with unsubstantiated goofy crap to make themselves feel better and explain why Obama's the president.

Can any of them really think that in all the years of Obama's public life, with all the tens of thousands of folks digging into this, that there is a single shred of proof that he's anything but an American citizen? No one's found one yet so maybe it's time to wake up and smell the coffee.

As far as I'm concerned I agree with the New York politician who famously said "You are welcome to your own opinions but not to your own facts."

Watch all the whacko conspiracy theorist post to this... I suspect you could search for their other posts to see just how much credence and credibility they have.

There are four things with his birth certificate:

1) Is he an American citizen?
2) Is his father really Barack Obama Sr. or really Frank M. Davis?
3) Why are his college records sealed?
4) What does his passport say when he went to Pakistan in 1982 when they wouldn't allow in American citizens.

There is speculation that Obama's mother had an affair with Frank Davis, a black liberal activist while living in Hawaii.

Producing a legitimate birth certificate, opening his college records, and passport records would answer all the above questions and put this to rest. Why does he fight opening his records? He has spent over $200,000 in legal fees keeping his records sealed. He wanted a transparent administration. Some transparency.

Natural born citizenship is a requirement of the job. Even little league kids have been required to show a birth certificate. Its a common practice in this country. Where there is smoke there is probably fire. Its an easy fix. Show the certificate...

Their is also the question as to whether he registered for college as a US citizen or foreign citizen. It has been claimed that he received a foreign student aid scholarship to attend school. If so did he lie then or is he lying now? Or does he just lie all the time.

Someone is lying. According to Obama's Kenyan (paternal) grandmother, as well as his half-brother and half-sister, Barack Hussein Obama was born in Kenya, not in Hawaii. Fact is he has NOT shown a certified Birth Certificate at all! He has shown a Certificate of Life Birth and there is a big differance. As to his claim to having been born in Hawaii, why then is it that his own family claims he was born in differant hospitals?

Why, when speaking of himself live on national tv, did he state recently that he was Muslim and then corrected himself to Christian only when he realised his slip up?

Why does he continualy refuse to honor our flag?

No great mystery. I have every reason not to trust him. He made many promises to Native Americans to get their vote. He has not kept one, nor has he even tried! But that aside, I believe what I see him do and don't do and what I see and hear him say. His own words and actions are plenty evident enough for me not to trust him in the slightest way. If someone tells you they are your friend, over and over and over again, constantly tells you what you want to hear, but occasionaly you catch them saying things about you that a friend would never say, or deliberately doing things to seriously hurt you, would you really still consider that person a friend? Obama tells you what you want to hear, just like that pretend friend, so you ignore all the evidence that he's not! Easier than admitting you're being betrayed by someone to whom you endowed your trust and that of your Country.

1. His Grandmother (and several other relatives) says she was present at birth in Mombasa. Many family friends say they remember seeing her before and after she gave birth in Mombasa.
2. He was adopted by his mother's husband in Indonesia, and was declared a Muslim, and a citizen of Indonesia.
3. He went to college on a foreign student scholarship.
4. He was allowed into Pakistan back when there was a ban on Americans going into the country, so his passport must have said he was not an American.

This is what I keep hearing from people. Is it true, I don't know, but there is sure a lot of people that want to know. Why are his records sealed? Is he really hiding something?

Too many questions unanswered. That alone is reason enough to doubt. As for black helicopters and etc. I would rather somebody question and scrutinize a government than just nod and stay in step.

I'll make things simple for those that support Obama by saying, " Oh your just one of those crazy conspiracy believing people if you believe he took the oath for Senator on the Koran!" You keep saying that if Obama took the oath for Senate on the Koran then we need to show proof or shut up. I say, show us proof that he took the oath on the Bible! Surely one exists don't it? It would be unheard of if one didn't, however so far I have been unable to find any video of him being sworn in and I'm far from alone. Nobody has! Why is that? Let's put this thing to rest, right here, right now. Charlie Sheen believes that the Bamster was born somewhere besides the USA and we know that Charlie has it going on. But then he also thinks Dubya blew up the Twin Towers.

I'm betting there are more liberals who think George Bush knocked down the towers than there are conservatives who think Obama was born in Africa. At this point it really doesn't matter where he was born; the damage is done. Put a fork in us.

We've got one guy who says he has four issues with the guy's birth certificate and list four things but only one has to do with the birth certificate.

We've got the bunch of folks who claim he is not a citizen when the state if Hawaii has looked into the issue and states that he is. There are also tow contemporaneous (I know it's a big word-look it up) newspaper announcements of his birth in 1961. It's gonna be fun watching you guys come up with a theory about this was a long planned 50 year old conspiracy.... Oh, and for the silly questions about how come someone who claims to be related has a different story-read this paragraph again and try another wild eyed claim.

There's the folks who want something other than the form shown in Old Fart's post. Sorry guys but that's the only certificate the state of Hawaii issues to anyone who wants a certificate of birth. Check that with the State Department of Health.

Sorry guys but none of your wild assed theories hold any water. I don't know how they do things where you all come from but here on Planet Earth the fact is that he's a citizen

!. Notice on the COLB that his father`s race is African-- Since when did African denote a race?
2. Obama also holds a Connecticut SSN# -- Why? As he never lived in Connecticut, nor did either of his parents ever live there.
There are more questions which a little research will reveal.One of my pet ones is why he has retained a special firm of lawyers to keep under wraps a multitude of Obama`s documents such as his birth certificate, college records,school records, passport, thesis, and many others.
Over $2,000,000 has been spent on lawyer fees to hide all of this information!

Birth certificate or not, you guys are missing the bigger picture. This guy falls all over himself kow-towing and bowing to foreign dictators and has said that he will stand with his muslim brothers when TSHTF. It doesn't matter if he has a piece of paper that says he was born in timbuktu or waterloo, he hasn't done a thing to make me respect him as an american.
When he was campaigning and said things like "he was going to spread the wealth around" the hairs on the back of my neck stood up. He told us what he was going to do AND THE FOOLS STILL ELECTED HIM! Criticize him now but he was elected by the supposed majority. Doesn't say much for the intelligence of the american people does it?

Other Presidents have been virtually crucified for infractions that were blown out of proportion by the media. Nixon had Watergate, how would this have possibly harmed the general population of America? Clinton had Monica, did this really compromise the nation in general?

Now we have a standing POTUS, who cannot or will not offer proof of his citizenship, who has travelled under numerous aliases, who will not show his college records (people who attended the same college during that time have no recollection of him), who has already claimed to be a muslim (to the degree that he would not let his wife visit the middle east with him), he has proven his Indonesian citizenship and yet the mainstream media just goes on without blinking an eye. The sheeple take him at his word.

Simple way to end the BC stuff would be to go to Kenya and interview the Kenyan Airport records.
During his campaign run it was stated on the news (don't ask me which one, I don't recall) that his mother was denied a boarding pass back to the US because of her advanced state of pregnancy. Only AFTER she gave birth was she allowed to fly back home. Doesn't prove he is or is not a US citizen but would prove where he was born!

A point not on birth issue I would like him to answer is when he made his statement to Joe, the plummer. He said he wants to spread the wealth around. What political system is he getting this from? He should answer if he really subscribes to a capitalist system or communism or such.

I don't see any way to prove where he was born. With money and power documents are very easy to fake and that's no great secret now is it? As to news paper accounts of his birth? I can have my photo, or anyone's, put on the cover of Rolling Stone, along with any date I care to put, but that don't make me or them Mick Jagger now does it? Bottom line I agree with those that don't really care where he was born. It's past that. It's his actions, and lack of actions, that concerns me! However, as to his being Muslim and being sworn in as senator on the Koran that's another story. As I said, his lying about it bother's me more than the things pointing to his being Muslim. Care to explain why there is not one video of him being sworn in? Untill one comes forth, my saying he was sworn in on the Koran is just as valid as your saying he wasn't. But again, put all the "where was he born" and "is he a Muslim" aside. To me, and a growing number of Americans, the only "wild assed theory" that matters is that of those who still believe he's being honest, has our best interest at heart, and is doing good for our Country! Now that is hard to believe and understand! The old term " The blind leading the blind " never rang more true!

I think there is a possibility that he is the illigimate son of Frank Marshall Davis. If you saw the pictures of Frank Davis in his younger years and Obama side by side, they look almost alike. Now, that makes him an American and legal to be president. It still doesn't answer the question of what was on his passport in 1982 and why are his college records sealed? He mentions Davis in his book as being a father figure since Obama sr. was gone. So either way, until some of this information is released we won't know what type of lies and deceptions we are looking at. Either way, no mater what the information gives, he is a lier and deceiver. That is why he keeps his records sealed, because he would be screwed politically with the truth either way.

The former Governor of Hawaii, a republican claims BO's live birth certificate is legit. There are newspaper birth announcements that collaborate the birth certificate. The new Govenor of Hawaii claims he knew the parents at the time and even met the infant BO days after his birth....in Hawaii.

Anything can be put on paper. Anything can be put into a computer. Both can appear with any date you like and people can, and are, bought. None of it matters because he's already in office. What matters is that he's already done damage and continues to do so and there are still those that blindly believe in him. They'd do better putting their faith in the Tooth Fairy!
