Looking at one of the US Repeating Arms Winchester 94 in .45LC.  Going to use it for Cowboy Shooting. They only want $300 for it.  Any thoughts??

Check the chamber as the 45 Colt chambers tend to run a little large in the 94's.  Have heard 279 on price for the trapper recently, 300 isn't that far off.

Fun gun - enjoy.

Thanks, hadn't thought about the bore diameter.  Does make a difference

I paid $307 for a trails end in 45 colt about a year ago.  I think it was a good buy.  I don't know about the chamber, but I slugged the barrel on mine, and it was right on .451.  I put a receiver sight on it, along with a recoil pad.  It shoots great.  The safety is not all that attractive, but I live with it.  I'd by another one.
