Some People's Kids!

My youngest daughter is in her 14th year of enlistment in the military. My son is a Certified Executive Bodyguard. Both have always been, and still are, very competitive. While home on leave my daughter was comparing side arms with my son. She was carrying a Taurus 9mm and said here's mine. My son  said nice, but  I carry a Springfield XD .45. That didn't sit well with her at all. Sooooo, she said yeah but I also carry an M-16. My son grinned and said so do I! I carry a pump 12 ga....so do I! Finally, not to be out done, she thought a second, grinned and said, "Yeah, but I also carry an M-60! End of argument! My daughter won! Daddy's little girl! ;D

Daddys little girls can drive tanks, fly helicopters and do all kinds of butt kickery.

I bowl with an Army captain and his wife who is a 1st Lt. She can drive a tank, but he can drive a bridge laying truck. Yep everybody gives him a hard time. ;)

Puts me in mind of the arguments we used to get into as kids - you know, "My dad's stronger/bigger/badder/etc than your dad!"  Seeing as how my dad was Air Force and worked bombing and navigation (and later fire control) on one of these http://www.awwar.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/b52-bomber-weapons.jpg I usually won the competitions...  ;D

We know a family whose two kids work for the same defense contractor.  They do projectile penetration tests on military vehicles, and then suggest design changes so the battery, starter motor, etc. will shield vulnerable areas.  They fire all kinds or ordnance into very expensive pieces of hardware.

Recently, a guy was hassling the girl in a bar.  Her brother sauntered over and said, "I wouldn't mess with her if I were you, she blew up a tank today."
