Did T/C ever make the Seneca  in a left hand configuration?

AFAIK, the Seneca's, Cherokee's, & Patriot's were only oruginally made in RH caplock - no LH, no rocklocks.

I've never seen or heard of a left hand Seneca. Boy, would I love to have one of these little guns in flintlock!

build one! I did.
check out my pics on the muzzleloader pics thread.
order a complete small siler lock...it's cheaper that way. use the pan, frizzen, frizzen spring, and hammer. They fit right on the T/C lockplate with minimum fuss. Mark your holes then drill and tap. The barrel is another story. Use a T/C 15/16 breechplug and mill or file it down to fit.

FWIW, Seneca's, Cherokee's & Patriot's all use 13/16" bbls & patent breeches, which greatly contributes to ther light weight & handiness.

Some of the larger-lock/stock/bbl Hawken's & Renegade's use a larger 15/16" ditto & some use 1" parts.

that's correct, that's why you have to mill .0625 off of each flat on the breechplug so it will fit to the 13/16 barrel of the seneca

I had a little .32 single trigger style Cherokee that I traded for a Green Mountain drop in barrel for a Renegade. I expect that trade was one of the dumbest gun related things I have ever done.
Hi NSA! Can you see how many fingers I am holding up?

Lot of good ideas, guys.  I do have a LH Renegade in .50 cal.  I don't BP hunt any more, but still manage to p*ss off the smokeless guys when I go to the range.    ;D
