S&W Model 41
« on: April 24, 2011, 12:45:52 PM »
Found a new in the box Model 41, with 5.5" bbl, of 1986 manufacture date.

Must've known I'd get one sooner or later, because  about 20 years ago, I bought a new Bianchi 5BHL holster, at a considerate discount, for that exact gun.

Yep, I know it's not a holster gun, though, I buy a nice holster for every handgun that I own.

The plastic bag of tools had never been opened, and everything is there, sans 1 magazine.
I've recently ordered 2 additional magazines for the pistol, so I'll have 3 total.

Yes, even though this pistol is a safe queen, that will change rather quickly!

Hey Rutin2tin,
Can you tell us what you paid for if I may ask?
The 41 is one of the fantasic four in my book.
Browning Buckmark, Highstandard Citation, Ruger Mk22 Bull barrel,
& the Smith & Wesson Model 41.

Happy shooting

You will probably love it!
I shot NRA Bullseye competition years ago with one; it had 'a lot of 10s in it'.
