HEEELLPP!! What is a good on-line reloading supply source? Other than Midway. I needed a set of .44-40 dies and components and was all set to drop some serious dough with Midway when their site locked up on me. This isn't the first time, either. I'm tired of fighting their wesite, so who else has a good inventory and a GOOD service record? I tried Cabelas, but they didn't have Lee dies for the .44-40.

Thanks, Butler. I actually managed to get through to Midway after I posted and ordered my dies and components, but I didn't get to order all my other stuff. For some reason, when I would go to the "presses" section, it would lock up. I'll check out this site. I may be using them from now on.

I have bought tons of stuff from Midway, but they are starting to get on my nerves. First, it was they don't ship C&Bs to California, because they are so nieve they think there is some law against that and then they sent me 4 of an item I only ordered one of and I had to pay the shipping back to get the credit. Grrrrr. I have now started to dump my bucks on Cabelas and they treat a cowpoke right all the way. They have way more stuff than is listed in there catalog and all you have to do is ask and find out if they carry what you are looking for. There return policy is second to none and the one time I wanted to return an item, they sent UPS to my house with a shipping label. No charge. Things like that make for long term customers.

Yeah, I like Cabelas. They just didn't list any Lee .44-40 dies. Might have them, but didn't list 'em. I'll be using them and Graf an Sons that Butler mentioned in the future.

I've gotten to the point that I try Cabala's first for almost everything, then if they don't have it, I'll try somewhere else.  Price, selection, and standing behind what they sell, I haven't found better anywhere.

Try:

http://midsouthshooterssupply.com

Their website can be slow at times if there is a lot of traffic and the organization is just ok... but their prices are good!

The best thing to do is get one of their catalogs and then order online using the item numbers!

I've been dealing with them for years and have been 100% happy. If anyone knows of a place with better prices let me know!

Thanks for the information, folks. i'm gonna try all of them to see what is the best. One good thing, I got a reply from Midway concerning the e-mail I sent about their site. They didn't seem to know they had a problem, but they did answer. It could be me and my system, but why is it only Midway that I was having a problem with? I visited a dozen or more sites, several catalouge web pages, and no problem. I have had this same problem with their site before, every since they re made thei r site last year.

Have you tried  buffaloarms.com  ?  They have it all and are a great bunch of guys.  You will talk to a shooter, not a "clek".

Unless they've changed their policy lately, you should be able to get stuff directly from Lee.
