"plastic" stock?

does anyone make an injection molded or such for a yugo 48?  thanks

Yugo 48?  ??? They made a Yugo car back in 1948?  :o Injection molded car?  :P  ;D

Try Boyds Gun Stocks, don't know if they have injection molded stocks for the 48, but I do know they have replacement stocks for the 48.

The Yugo 24/48 is shorter than a standard 98 action with a bolt length of 6.115 vs 6.370 which means that the various fiberglass/composite stocks for a 98 action will not work.

Frogtog I would recommend the laminate stocks from Boyds mentioned earlier at a cost of $69.00 they are a buy  and when finished are better looking than the fibergalss/composites and stronger to boot.  They make several models for the 24/48 action.

I have laminated walnut/maple stocks on a 110 Savage and a P14 Enfield and they are very pretty and hold up well under recoil, are stronger than most of the fiberglass/composite stocks unless you buy a premium brand like MPI, H/S etc designed and constructed for heavy recoil.

Thanks for the replys/info. Was tryin to lighten it up a bit & chop the barrel for a poor mans"scout "rifle,will give the Boyds a second look & check their weight vs. stock military,which I have already striped & inleted for a Boyds trigger with side safety
