Need Shoulder Holster For Single Action Revolvers
« on: December 28, 2003, 03:16:26 PM »
Hello Friends,
I am looking for a shoulder holster rig for single action revolvers (AWA Longhorns and Ruger Vaqueros). I would prefer double rigs. Do you know of internet sites with pictures, etc.? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Happy holidays and happy new year,

Well, I thought I had ya covered till ya said double rig. I have been using a Triple K I got from Cabelas for over a year and I like it real well. But it is a single rig. The pistol I use it for is a Vaquero. The rig comes set up as a verticle concealment rig, but by shifting the straps forward, it works like Doc Holiday's rig in "Tombstone".

Try: http://www.mernickleholsters.com/bm_shldr.html

I met Mernickle recently when he was delivering a finished rig to someone at a local CAS shoot. He's a good guy, and does excellent work.

:D Well Rifle Man one of the top leather makers in the business has a sticky right at the top of this page. Now having said that I don't think I've seen a dbbl shoulder rig on his website. But he could sure make ya one. You oughta see the buscadero rig he mage for my 12" Buntline. It's beautiful!! I suggest that you email or call Big Ed & discuss what you want. Having said that, I can tell you that it will take a while to get it. It will be hand made by BE, not one of his employees & it will be perfect. Cost & turn around time will depend on how fancy you want it. But I can tell you this it will be well worth the wait & the cost. His work is top drawer in every way & so is his guarantee. :cb2:
