Lets give credit where credit is due and that is not to Obama. Just what exactly did the self proclaimed miricle worker do? Sign a paper, give a go ahead that was already in the works for the past few years? Get it right, Obama didn't get Bin Ladin, the SEALs did! They and their team are the ones who deserve any and all credit and they alone! Not some REMF even if he is the president!
As to Pakistan knowing he was there? We payed them well to help find him. Wanna bet that he payed them even more to keep quiet? It's not rocket science, they played both sides of the fence. They might not of seen him but a fortified position right under their noses goes unseen? Highly unlikely! Either that or that academy is for the blind!
From what I understand, the original plan was to hit the place with a B2 strike.

Having attended a Miliatry Academy for a couple of years in high school, You very rarly leave campus. Academics, drill and sports have you on campus most of the time. If off campus and out for a cross country run you look at the scenery.
People in the theaters here in the 30's did not recognize Public Enemy No 1 Dillinger sitting in the row with them and he was out and about and just had his picture on the news reals, Osama holed up in the compound.
I am not writting off that some in Pakistan did know he was there. I am sure with in the government there are/ were some supporters. With out the millions that Osama had as bribe money, I think his organization will fold quickly and more and more people will hand over Al Quieda members for the reward money.
