I will run this past you experts before I possibly say no, have a chance to buy a very decent Martini-Enfield in 577/450, but the cost of dies and brass has given me a bit of "sticker shock", $99 for 20 brass, dies are $140, any short-cuts here?
And what is/should be the groove diameter, will my .457/.458 moulds work?

Go to the British Militaria Forums at http://pub7.ezboard.com/bbritishmilitariaforums. There you'll find many Martini shooters who will be able to advise you. Look in the Items for sale section for info n moulds etc.

What do you need reloading dies for with the 577/450? You need a way to decap and recap and that's it. Everything else can be done by hand.

Those CH4D dies at $140 are cheap, price them at RCBS. The rifle will be cheaper.
