It just proves we tried to turn him or recruit him.  It would have been a good move if it had worked, but he double crossed us - probably happens all the time, and I'm sure we have had our successes.  It certainly doesn't prove we created Al Qaeda.  Every time the terrorists strike it weakens us, makes us look impotent, or worse.  Image you are a big-wig riding around Washington in an SUV with smoked windows.  One joker hiding behind a tree with a 1950 bazooka  and you could be guest of honor at a state funeral.  No one wants to see them succeed.

Yes, media and politics are full of corrupt people - amoral might be a better word.  It's really our fault because we reward them for it.  They are capable of almost anything, but it's usually not as bad as it seems.  Don't let your imagination run wild.

Wait a minute fellows, we did hire him and his Taliban. Dick Chaney hired him and his bunch to help guard the pipe line that was being run back in papa Bush's time.Bin Laden was asking for more and more money to keep doing what he was hired for.It wasn't until Ole Dick said FU we are not giving you  another dime. That's when the s--t hit the fan.So no we did not try to turn him or recruit him WE HIRED HIM.........
This only proves that, when allowed to act outside his lawfully limited authority,a U.S. President is capable of unleashing horrendous violence against the lives, liberty, and property of those he pretends to serve...........

I beg to differ. IMO it turns out to be worse then it seems.

I thought we were talking about Al Qaeda.  We have had an on again off again relationship with Taliban for some time, and if we "win" in Afghanistan, it will amount to getting Taliban to let girls go to school or something just as radical.  I know, this whole thing did not just drop from the sky on 9-11.  We supported bin Laden's group when they were fighting the Russians in the '80s.  I thought it was right then and I still do.

Why oh why couldn't we have just stayed at home and minded our own business.  I think the country went off the rails around the late 19th or early 20th Centuries.  We gained the world but we lost our own country.

#1: We are never going to 'win'...this is about drugs again.  CIA/DEA are at it again, pipeline of opium.  Afghanistan is the biggest exporter of the drug.  And we all remember the Contra/drug/money laudering operation Oliver North, Hull, and VP Bush had going on during the Reagan years.......just a different place and a new drug....same game, new names!

#2: We don't stay home, because our drugs stink!

I know this isn't true.  I have Muslim friends.  Some born here, some came here for freedom.

If I had the attitude  about Muslims that you have I would never have led any to the Kingdom of God though Jesus Christ.  Each one of them was a victory in heaven and the angels sang.  One of these former Muslims is now a Christian minister.  I share the love of God and salvation through Jesus with them instead of taking the NWO bait and attacking them at every chance.

Moslems are actually quite open to receive the teachings of Jesus as they already accept him as the messiah and redeemer.

report from eutimes.com

The importance of Obama being linked by his “Star Family” connections to Bush were made even more evident this past week with the American President ordering the assassination of Osama bin Laden, but who was not really Osama bin Laden, but was his nearly identical brother Salem bin Mohammed bin 'Awad bin Laden who was reported killed on May 29, 1988, in San Antonio, Texas while on a visit to see his “best friend”, George W. Bush. [Note: In 1978, Bush and Osama bin Laden's brother, Salem bin Laden, founded Arbusto Energy, an oil company based in Texas.]

The “original” Osama bin Laden, otherwise known by his CIA code name “Tim Osman”, died of kidney failure in early 2001 as attested to, under oath, by the former US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Dr. Steve R. Pieczenik who still works for the US Department of Defense, and who further stated that the September 11, 2001 attacks upon American were a “false flag” operation engineered by the “highest levels” of the US government.

The death of Osama, however, didn’t stop the US from carrying out the 9/11 attacks upon itself, and on December 13, 2001 they released a video made by Salem bin Laden, not Osama, claiming responsibility for it [photo bottom left] that was widely ridiculed as being the fake that it actually was.

Under the Islamic religious custom of Levirate Marriage, where a brother is obligated to marry the wives of his deceased brother, Salem bin Laden married the wives of his dead brother Osama and under the protection of both the CIA and Pakistan’s ISI was moved with them to his CIA protected hideaway in Abbottabad, the most protected city in all of Pakistan. [Note: Salem “Osama” bin Laden’s “hideout” in Pakistan was, perhaps, the most widely known “secret” in the intelligence world with one of America’s top journalists, Christiane Amanpour revealing on the October 3, 2008 edition of “Real Time” with Bill Maher, “I just talked to somebody very knowledgeable ... that thinks that he's in a villa, a nice comfortable villa, in Pakistan.”

The drug connection is back as Afghanistan production at near 100% again...as indicated by rising US stock market wherein this money is cleaned.

Most of my Christian friends have never read the Bible and do not really know what is in it.  They only know what they have been told.  I see the same with Muslims, most have never read the Koran.  Only a minority are terrorist.  A radical Muslim would never be my friend, because the Koran says never take a Christian or a Jew for a friend.  I have read the Koran.

I find it odd that 20 of those who supposedly killed OBL are now dead.  Dead men tell no tales maybe?

No and you did not read those words from me.

Most of you are a little late on the issues. As I said in my post on the Pot Bellied Stove forum the first reports were that 20 of those killed also were on the OBL mission. That was what I had a problem with as it sounded fishy to me. They have replaced that story after the White House released the official story and now say they were not the same.  Were they ? I dont know but I do know what they said in the first hour of the story breaking.
At this point all we can do is remember the families of those lost....
