best catch of the year

1 of the local farms that I am allowed to trap. They manage their deer herd well. The guy bought the farm just for hunting. He spends tons of money to enjoy his time hunting. We had a good idea a local jerk was sneaking on, but never could catch him. So I set a snare and and trail camera on a good deer/fox run. It also happened to be the same trail he used. The first picture is him walking on the trail. In the next picture he was on the ground. It obviously took him 10minutes to figure out how to undo it. After looseing 1 camera to a thief. I made a heavy duty metal box that the camera fit into. I also used sevral chains and cables to lock it to the tree. After realizing the camera was in the tree he tried to take the camera. He returned with a sledge hammer and bolt cutters. I do not know how long he tried because the camera ran out of film. But the box was beat. But as you can tell the camera was fine and the land owner has the pictures. I got offered a good spot to deer hunt next year. When I get the pictures back I will post them up.

ROFL  That is good stuff!!  Bet the guy is having a fit and many sleepless nights!!

That wouldn't work here though.  Most are too lazy of roadhunters to get out of their truck.  How big of a loop is needed for a 3/4 4X4??  :)

We have been having trouble loosing our trail cameras to, just wondering how you went about building a box for yours.

it is heavy. It is 1/4" steel, it has the same holes as camera.  It is longer then the camera, so when the fron door shuts you can reach up inside and put lock on it. There is also a piece of steel below camera above lock.
Also it is thicker then camera. this is so I can lock the chain inside box. Basically make a box larger then camera. make a mount for camera to mount to door. Then make sure enough room when shut it can fit locks inside.. Use heavy duty chain. Also use cable, the stuff is damn near impossible to cut.. So unless the drag a cutting torch in they ain't getting it.

Well?
Some of us are dying to know what happened.
