I live in northeastern Pa. and the turkey hunting has been not to productive this year.Don't know if it is the weather affecting things,or the birds just aren't here this year.You hardly hear any gobbling in the morning.A few more now that it warmed up some.They don't seem to be out in the fields that much either.What birds I have called in all came in silent.Only reason I found those is because been hunting the same area for a few days.There is signs of fresh scratching daily.Plus hunting pressure has been pretty heavy,which is normal the first few weeks.Heard a decent amount of shooting the first day from 7 to 7:30,then silence.Figured those were all field ambush shots,they weren't single shots.Every year things change but this is really weird..
