You know, when I read the title of this post I figured this was going to be about thought-crime (ie, complaining about Germany regarding Nazi emblems or something).

I have to say though that looking at the article it did shock me - I didn't think they still had any of these guys left to prosecute.  IMHO, 91 years old or not, they should have thrown him in prison for the rest of whatever few days he has left.  Letting him live out his live at this point is a concession to a man that deserves none, and it's not really about Nazi's, or Jews in the end, it's the fact that he had a role in the death of that many PEOPLE.  The politics don't matter at this point.  The man is a murderer, and he should pay for it.

The guy was a guard at a prison camp. Just like the guys we have guarding people at gitmo. When you or I were in the military had we been ordered to such a duty we would have complied! I see no point in throwing him in prison!
He did not decide to kill the Jews, the big dogs did.
If we lose the war with Islam I am sure they will charge every guard at gitmo with war crimes! I doubt you would like to see that!

I am not up on the particulars of this case but I think this sounds fishy also.  The Israleis found him not guilty and set him free. I am not saying an isralei court would be biased against him but if anyone had an axe to grind with an accused death camp gaurd it would be Israel.
Hi NSA! Can you see how many fingers I am holding up?

I somehow doubt that the big dogs were pumping gas into the chambers.

Israel discovered that they had the wrong guy.  Mistaken identity.

Germany convicted the guy of 'being there'.  They can't shown a hint of verifiable evidence that he either harmed or participated in harming anyone.

This man was a captured Russian soldier forced into service by the Germans.  The Germans have convicted him of a crime that they cannot prove, that they forced him to commit if he did, and likely under threat of death if he did not .

Oh yeah,  Germany has come a long way.

 ???
They may talk of a "New Order" in the  world, but what they have in mind is only a revival of the oldest and worst tyranny.   No liberty, no religion, no hope.   It is an unholy alliance of power and pelf to dominate and to enslave the human race.

The sure have in the very wrong direction.

There isn't one person of influence alive or recently dead that would have had any hand in the 3rd Reich's decision making.

To this day the Govt and the Courts to their shame IMO  act like it was their fault and need to perform self flagellation.

My ancestors are probably turning in their graves. I wonder what group will take up that very valuable propaganda spot when all of these"Nazi types" are gone.
What is the point of Life if you can't have fun.
