Thugs targeting women
« on: May 13, 2011, 07:28:57 AM »
A friend just e-mail'd me about a new thing, of thugs passing off business cards to victims that are treated with a toxic substance that incapacitates the victim.
The particular one was a woman at a gas station just finishing up gassing her car and a guy came up passing business cards for a house painting service, he handed her one and left, she got in drove a little ways and started feeling really dizzy and couldent catch her breath, in mean time a pair of guys in a van right behind her, she turned into a home drive way and layd on the horn and scared off the guys.
Cops say this new date rape type drug is very powerfull and very toxic on end the business card dipped in the substance called "Burundanga".

So I decided to google up the drug and its used mainly in south america and is useally ingested or inhaled as a powder(blown in the face), also known as Scopolamine or Colombian Devil's Breath, the business card use was basicly unproven, I did read up in  www.hoax-slayer.com/burundanga-warning.shtml
This site claims to Debunk e-mail hoaxes and expose internet scams since 2003.
it is a concern to travelers in Colombia but not the USA.
I let my friend know about chain mail as a horrid way to spread viruses and malware.
