45colt cc. She's a shooter!

My wife is gone for 2 days, Im off work, and no kids. What a great day of shooting and cleaning and pampering my wife's 45colt carbine while waiting for mine. Here is the last target of the day. I know I my be easy but It makes my happy.

4 Winchester SuperX 45colt 255gr lead round nose
1 Hornady Leverevolution 45colt 225gr FTX
50 yards offhand (give or take a few feet. it was the long step as measurements)
the target was printer paper and the outer ring is a traced coffee can
inter ring is a candle stick.
Needless to say I am a happy camper!

Open sights at 50 paces, I ain't gonna duel with ya.  Lookin good, hope yours shoots as well, wouldn't want ya thinkin about switchin barrels with the little women. ::)  DP

Great repeatability, your 2nd target looks just like the first target. ;D  Very good offhand, iron sight shooting.

Sorry Bikerbeans, it's just one target the 2nd pic I added the ruler to show size. I was disappointed that it does not like the Honady ammo It kept shooting high and to the right. It likes the Winchester SuperX. It was the perfect day, sun no wind it was jut right. I only hope I shoot like this on the hunts.

Very good shooting! My 9 year old son will be getting a 45 Colt barrel that just so happens to fit his Versa Pack frame perfectly for his birthday this Tuesday.

 Your shooting bullets at different velocities and weights. You SHOULD get different groups...

The Hornady is high but is it consistantly high? (I see one hole) IE just shooting a group high and to the right?

Thanks Doublebass73 and I am sure that your son will enjoy that barrel. I think it's great that your getting him loaded up with a great setup.

CWlongshot your right, I shot a total of 11 Hornady Leverevolution on deferent targets 5 shots per-target, but even trying compensate my groups were not as good as they were with the  Winchester SuperX. They were always up and to the left so I tried to aiming bottom right on the target. More time behind the trigger will hopefully help.

When I first shoot a new gun I seldom worry about POI. That's as long as they are on the paper!!;)

Anyhow, you will never shoot as tight a group as the gun is capable of with "Kentucky windage"!!! 
Next trip just past up a new target and don't be concerned with bullseye impacts. Just shoot for group and record aiming point for LATER adjustment.
