Hello everyone;

are there anyone who knows of any aftermarket trigger that will fit the remington 799/Zastava M85/miniMark-X? Drop in or one that can be adapted; nothing can be worse than the unit ths maker have mounted...

Chiefen,

The trigger on both the 798 and 799 actions is the same as on 98 Mausers,  any trigger made for the 98, Timney,  Dayton-Traister, Bold etc with work on these actions.

The 798 is a pure 98 Mauser design,  the 799 similiar but with a push feed bolt and a non-controlled extractor set up more like the Sako.

All sorts of triggers available for the 799.

Looking in  Brownells catalog, they  carry triggers made by 7 different makers,

Bold, Dayton-Traister, Huber, NECG, Kepplinger, Timney.

The NECG and Kepplinger are double set triggers.    There are multiple models of Timney triggers for these actions with and without a safety.
