S&W E series
« on: May 17, 2011, 02:28:27 PM »
Who can tell me about the 5" S&W E series 1911's?  I'm strongly thinking about getting one and would like to know the pros and cons.

Try the S&W forum.
I don't have any experience with them either.

Me neither I know nothing......about them.

But i'm interested in how good the S&W auto's are???  Cabelas just had the S&W plastic 9mm's here for $300 on sale.  I'm kind of leary about plastic pistols.

The S&W M&P's  are awsome pistols.  I have a fullsize 4" 45acp and a Full size 4.5" 9mm and Love them both.  I'm pushing the 15,000 round mark with my 45acp M&P and have done nothing but clean, Lube and replaced the guide rod and spring. I shoot IDPA CDP class with it and Love it.  I have about 8,000 rounds through my 9mm M&P and use it for SSP class.  I have no complaints.  ;D
