I work for the Government. I am not not here to help you. So you can forget about the first and biggest lie told by the government.
I have never belonged to a union.
I have a pension plan, it consists of recieving 1% of my high 3 years salary X the years of service. I have a 401k equivelant plan set up by the government and social security. (government salaries aren't that great to begin with. Very few less than 1% are close to what our private company counterparts make) (What does a private industry mech/logistics engineer make?)
I paid into social security and the 401k equivelant for 40 years should I be really willing to give them up?
What pension plans do private companies have, I am unfammilar with them. Do they exist?
If they do exist, why work for a company that doesn't have a retirement plan?
The real problem with government raiding retirement accounts is the government has a problem of over spending and not paying back. Government spending is like a crack addict.
There is no self discipline when it comes to government spending.
