Stopped into my favorite candy store yesterday just to say hi to my friend at the counter. He tryed to lure me into a new 22LR 1911 copy, checked several and they just didn't seem to be able to open my wallet. Chatted somemore and just as I was ready to leave, he says, hey, you haven't seen this yet. Pulls a stainless Blackhawk out of the case, thumbs the loading gate open and said, " John, (Linebaugh), couldn't believe how well Ruger polished the chambers on this", pops the cylinder out and hands it to me. Small holes and to many of em.
Chambers are mirror bright. Hmmmmm. The bait is in the water. Jim slaps the cylinder back in and hands it to me, "check the trigger" he says.
, he smiles, feeling the nibble.
Thumbed the hammer back, stick my other thumb between hammer and frame and......
. Jim just laughed and started reeling me in as I hand him the Ruger and tell him "damn it, I was gonna get out with out buying anything, I gotta get back to work, put it up for me." To busy to get in today, want to get it tomorrow to fondle over the weekend. Not sure it will do anything I couldn't do with one of my 38's or 357's, but that round has intrested me since they brought it out. Darn it, now I gotta get brass, bullets and dies for another caliber!
Sure glad momma bought a new 'puter with out askin first yesterday, gonna make it easier.
Anyone else shoot this caliber? DP
