Remington 522 Viper barrel

I want to refinish the barrel on my .22 Viper. I have had this rifle completely stripped down several times but have never removed the barrel. Can anyone tell me how to remove the barrel from the receiver? Thanks.

Below is a link to a parts diagram but it refers to the 'receiver/barrel group' with no indication of how these are married. usually they are pressed into place and sometimes retained but a pin. I see no evidence for such going on here.. Does the refinish rally require the barrel be removed? Some rimfires are screwed into place but I doubt this is the case here. Perhaps it would be best to finish the assembly as a unit..?
