Just aquired a 410 bbl for my contender, after shooting it seemed hard to remove choke.I was wondering if using a antiseize lube (like for my blackpowder breech plug) would be appropriate. What do you guys do?thanks SGB

I have no experience with contender choke tubes, but I have at least a half dozen shotguns with them. All of my choke tubes are lubricated with grease specially made for choke tubes to keep them from seizing in the barrel. Most likely any type of grease would work. But absolutly you should lube your tubes.

There is specific lube, available from Brownell's. I'd use it, if I could get my tube out. I can't, so I rationalize that they only make a full choke tube, anyway...

YES, You MUST use a choke tube lube if you do not use any it will cause the tube to get stuck in the barrel.
