New Baby...........New Life
« on: May 20, 2011, 07:37:43 PM »
The young lady in my avatar is my new daughter, well 13 weeks away. She is beautiful, I know, she has her mom's nose. But, the point is, I just wanted to thank to the GB family. We discuss things the most dear to us and we argue like the devil. But, just an FYI, we are handing it over to a new generation. I have learned so much being in this family. And this is something you can not learn elsewhere. Just wanted to give the family a high five....... All of us, at some point in time, are doing good things.......

My second great grandchild, another girl, will be here in August. Family is beginning to get anxious. Some more than others. Grandma and Greatgrandma for example.

Kid better hit the ground running if she is going to keep up with her 3 year old sister.

Congratulations on the new daughter.

Congratulations.

Hold her every chance you get. The time when you can hold her, will pass even faster than everyone tells you. It won't seem like it, then it'll be gone. Hold while she's small enough to hold. Lessons learned here.

and then you'll have scenes like this to look forward to:

Jesus said we should treat other as we'd want to be treated... and he didn't qualify that by their party affiliation, race, or even if they're of diff religion.

Congratulations Mohawk.  Be sure to take her fishing and hunting when she gets older.   But don't wait too long or you will have to compete with shopping and boys.

Yes, she will definately be a huntress and fisherwoman  ;D Hunting and fishing has always been my family's way of life, or at least a major niche of it. I think she will fit right in. I even have her user name picked out, "Mohawk II". Look for her in about 8 yrs, God willing. My son, who is 9 and has severe autism, just doesn't get it yet, Lord bless his heart. He loves the outdoors but can't "talk" about it yet, and maybe never will. That's fine, I can tell he loves the deer, rabbits, and squirrels he sees, as his ever vocal "Look" is always heard.  YELLOWTAIL, thank you for the pics..... as that is what I am looking forward to.
