taurus m 94 revolver

        just picked up a taurus m 94 revolver 22 lr.hammer is wicked hard to cock can i shorten the main spring a bit to make it better.the trigger is just fine.

Yes, I just did that exact thing for a lady that had a hard time cocking hers, careful how much you take off or you'll be having misfires.  Springs are not hard to get if you do take too much.

I have one of these and I took two coils off the hammer spring.  It still is a little stiff but not as bad as originally and it goes off every time both SA and DA.  This little revolver is rapidly becoming my favorite 22 hand gun.

            SENT IT BACK TO TAURUS LETS SEE WHAT THEY WILL DO.TOLD THEM AFTER 18 ROUNDS MY THUMB WAS ALMOST BLEEDING!

I picked up one and my wife shot it the other day in double action the whole time.  She loves it, its hers now. I did lube the action with moly so its a tad easier to operate now.      CZY

               DA WORKS FINE BUT SA IS HARD ON THE THUMB.I HOPE THEY CAN MAKE IT WORK WITH A LITTLE MAIN SPRING.THIS IS MY WIFES NEW SHOOTER BUT IT IS HARD FOR ME TO COCK.

         GOT GUN BACK IN 14 DAYS.THEY DID A GOOD JOB NOW IT WORKS LIKE IT SHOWLD.LOOKS LIKE THEY STAND BEHIND THERE WORD AND WORK.

Still seems kind of shoddy that brand new guns need this sort of work.
