  i still think the power brokers are getting her in position to run as vice president ..been suspecting that for a while now an posted the same..sad thing is i think they would be very hard to beat..
study the things happening in the world today.. still no man knows the hour or day..

What deception? She may have fudged her resume, but she was never a pastor that claimed to be a Navy Seal. She makes a living talking about things that stay at home moms are interested in. Not brain surgery, what a shock, more like how do you feel when you husband does not say hello when he comes home, utter crap like that. She appears smart because her audience (the women of America) tend to be needy insecure TV addicts.

She is not retiring...She is just not going to be having a daily show...

She still has a network and a magazine to keep her busy...She gave a million and a half dollars away last week to start a new school and remodeled 25 school librarys across the nation and restocked them with books...

What have you guys done for society lately??? :)

While I did not know her, I knew of her, as a teen.  She was just one of the crowd at East Nashville High School, they all looked alike to me back then.  No I was not prejudiced, I just was not allowed to associate with anyone other than white.  (My Mom is one of the most prejudiced people on Earth).  When I went home after Basic Training, I was in shock when I saw Oprah doing the local News on TV.  She was the first Black Person I had ever seen on a Nashville TV station.

Next thing I heard she was doing Movies, and big TV talk shows.  She is a self made Woman, she made herself what she is today.  While I don't agree with her philosophy, I have the utmost respect for her.  But I do not want to see her in politics, her ideas would not be good for the country.

I saw the sign for her fathers barber shop every morning for years, but I did not connect it to Oprah.  I never knew Oprah's last name till after she became a professional, then I realized that the Barber was her father.

 to me its scary and i don t pretend to know how to guide those i love through this time..
 since it is past my understanding ,i just trust that in the end GOD is still in charge and hes not confused at all..much of what is in the bible, speaks of a time when even the faithful will be
confused . but the father is and always will be in charge.. im just glad he loves us so much that he provided a way for his children to be redeemed..

Can't say I really like Oprah. However I do got respect for what she has accomplished in her life. She is a self made billionaire. She saw what she wanted and went and got it. I don't recall her ever playing the race card to get where she is.

One things for sure with Oprah. She wouldn't have to raise tax's for the next govt. giveaway. She could just invite all the company's,union's, foreign country leader's to a special, and she could put a billion dollars under their seat, and they could go home happy.  :D gypsyman
