I would tend to believe Mokdad's mother. I'm sure she knew what was going on. Why else would she say it was an honor killing? The guy was ticked because his daughter wore a tank top, shorts, and had a boyfriend. He just had to kill her for fear of what fellow Muslims would think of him. Then he tried to save his own skin, by fabricating a story. Call it what you want, but I think Mokdad's mother had it right. It was an honor killing. I guess he forgot where he was living, and that he would get thrown in jail for doing such things.
If the guy had let Christ into his life, instead of Allah. His daughter would still be living.

TM7, of course they don't have a term for abortion. The muslims wait until the child is 10 or 12 and teach them to strap a bomb on themselves. Where would they get all their future suicide bombers if they believed in abortion? gypsyman

FYI....so-called christians cite natural law as against abortion, yet 60,000 abortions/yr (or is it more?) take place in the presence of so-called christians in this country, a so-called judaeo-christian country...big industry indeed. So even though this is a spiritually bankrupt practice thousands take place... same with these few honor murders--a few take place by religious fanatics. Religious fanaticism stinks in any religion. Here are some links TM. I can find you many more if you want. I don't care if honor killings are not to be a part of Islam, but it appears that it is people of the Islam faith that are doing it. Its always the women that are the ones being killed in the honor of the family. The men are most always found innocent.

Thats right TM, abortions are commuted by "so called Christians" A label of Christian can be placed on anyone. Abortions are not a product of the true Christian faith. Every true Christian I know is against abortion, and would never kill their own child. That is neither before birth, or after birth.

TM7 doesn't realise a lot of things have "christian" on them. However, I would venture to say that only 10-20% of Americans are TRUE Christians. That is why I like Sarah Palin, she had her last baby, even though it had Down's syndrone. Practices what she preaches. In 1960 over 50% of Americans attended church at least twice a week. Today only about 10% do. A true Christian has admitted they are a sinner, and needed Christ to come into their heart to save them from sin. Then God writes His commandments on their hearts. The reason Christians fought Muslims in the first place, was their methods of conversion was fear, death, or enslavement if you didn't convert to Islam. Christians initially weren't like that, they spread the Gospel in the Roman Empire under persecution but never forced anyone to convert. Later with the ignorance and Catholic Church system they did and they persecuted Prostestants and Jews.
