Savage 242
« on: May 28, 2011, 06:42:12 PM »
Just received a Savage 242 series C 410 over 410 from a relative.  The upper firing pin seems to be broken and also seems to be smaller in diameter than the lower.  I checked Numrich and it looks like there was a rifle firing pin for the upper barrel.  Does anyone know if that is the one I need?  It's a nice little gun and will be a blast to shoot for me and the kids once it's up and running properly so I'd like to get it working.  Any info on it would be appreciated.

the reciever for the 242 is the same as the model 24V d series so the pins should be the same
