Custom Flintlock Gunshows

I'm interested in purchasing a custom made flintlock, and I was wondering if anyone knows of any gunshows that are predominately flintlock, where gunsmiths display their own unique creations? Thanks.

Contemporary Longrifle association (CLA)

www.longrifle.ws

This might help. They have shows that artisans display thier rifles.

YES! Thank you Custom257 that's exactly the type link I was looking for!

I know you'll be anxious to get to the top of Mr. Edwards list. Those pics on his website are awesome. I just love those high grade curly maple stocks and engraving! Thanks a bunch.  :D

In March of every year, there is a monster show sponsored by Cascades Mountain Men that occurs in Enumclaw, Washington. This is near Seattle. It's far from Alabama, but, who knows? You may be visiting the area.

There are several gunmakers who are near the top of their craft who exhibit, or wander about.

I attended the CLA show in Lexington last year with the idea of finding someone who could build a rifle for me. It depends on your price range of course but rifles on display start about $1800. A good share of the rifles there are for display only. I never found anyone to build the rifle I wanted but I did get what was certainly the buy of the show when I found someone who wanted to sell a custom made Hawken that I got for a bargain price. I had fun at the show and may go back someday. Another show that is supposed to be good is the Living History Fair which is in Michigan and I think is held both in March and October each year.

Keith Lisle at WWW. Custom Muzzleloaders. com just finished a left-haned Haines for me. Excellent craftmanship. The rifle can be seen on the website.
