I am looking to build my brother a .308 AR-10.  Who are some suppliers for parts that you recommend? Thanks.  Not really sure where to look at this point.

Check out Shotgun News they have several ads for such. I also see DPMS lowers for sale in shops around here (Va) and at showes for under 300 sometimes less than 250.

I not sure how cross compatible AR-10 parts are.  I think I've seen two different lowers that used different kinds of uppers and where not cross compatible.  They appear not to be as standardized as AR-15s

I think about the only place that has AR10 parts is Armalite and it's distributors and Brownells.
