DPMS A-15 16"
« on: June 02, 2011, 05:00:31 PM »
Hey fellas/Ladies. Picked up a DPMS a-15 w/ a 16" barrel, flattop receiver, came w/ a-2 sighted carrying handle, and scope rail, cleaning kit, 2 20rd mags all in a neat DPMS case w/ cutouts for all peices. Got everything EXEPT owners manual. Oh yea, the front sight is standard a-2 style, and the stock is collapseable.  Any/ all info anyone can give me will be appreciated. Thanx all

Sounds like an Ap4 Dpms m4 clone. Me and my dad both have one. There great guns I've got about 1000 rounds through mine without a problem. You should be able to find a manual on Dpms website

Thanx sachel.45! Can you tell me about accuracy potential, durability, anything like that? Maybe ammo of one type or another that your weapons seem to like better?

i'm getting about an 1.5" at 100 yards with federal 50 jhp. I haven't had any problems with mine. Mine doesn't really look like the stock AP4 anymore though. I've got a magpul moe stock and forend a MIAD grip, a magpul trigger guard and a magpul vertical grip with an ASAP plate an an MS2 sling. I've got a leupold 2x7 scope in a ADM scope mount. I like magpul stuff if you haven't noticed  :). I've got no complaints I'd buy another DPMS in a heart beat.
