The Ghurkas obviously are not to be trifled with. The Taliban should have known 30-1 would not be good enough odds.

Not sure what religion, think they are Hindu.  Remember reading a war story, think it was WW2, about a Gurkha that was serving with a Brit unit in Europe.  His specialty was to creep around at night and find 2 or more Germans camping together, slip into camp, and take that big curved knife they carry and slit the throat of one, then leave.  8) Goatwhiskers the Elder

Pop was in North Africa in WWII. Said if a gurka came up and put his hand on you in the dark, which you wouldn't see or hear comeing, you better just stand still or you would get your throat cut. they could tell a german from an american by feeling the gear. ear

No Ghurka's are mainly Hindu as are almost all Nepalese people.
A few are Tibetan Buddhists and some are followers of Shamanism.

Hookers correct, Ghurkas are mainly Hindu, with some Buddhists, and Shamanist mixed in.
