Have relatives affirm there was a british earl in the family some ways back, I figured they were full of Hooey and never paid much mind to it, but then My grandfathers (a spencer) sister passed away and allot her old family research stuff was squirreld off by a step relative and nobody now knows what the connection to the English Spencers were, old family tale was a male spencer (supposedly a earl quit it all to marry a commomer) moved to nebraska and farmed. I tried to look up spencer stuff but thers no easy crossover from England to USA, guess I need to check US Census or immigration for the 1800's for southwestern Nebraska (redwillow county?).
that will cover the English end then have to nail down the Danes and the Czechs.
