The Tea Party
« on: June 04, 2011, 11:07:34 PM »
http://politics.blogs.foxnews.com/2011/06/04/tea-party-back-any-gop-nominee-including-romney

So....to put this delicately, what in the world is the POINT of the Tea Party.  They'll just rubber stamp what ever professional schlub the Republicans put up?  This infuriates me.  This is simply "Change We Can Believe In" Republican style.  The makes the entire movement appear to be nothing but a patronizing pat on the head to keep the peasants from getting their torches.  What a joke.   >:(

We have to hope that indeed the Tea Party does endorse the Republican nominee.  If the Tea Party were to have its own candidate, I don't think there is any doubt who will get reelected and that is unacceptable.  Like it or not, the best we can hope for is that anyone but Obama gets elected.  I'm good with that.

Ya...well what if it's Romney?  Why in the world would any conservative support HIM just to keep the republican party alive?  ??

What can the republicans gain by turning into democrats? A better quesion is, what do conservatives gain, if you really are one?

If the republicans pick another socialist as their nominee, they are dead for sure and ought to be.  If you are a true conservative and go along with a socialist pick, you have been sold out and I hope you figure that out.  Should have already figured it out with McLame.

I, and my family have supported the T-Party movement from the beginning, HOWEVER. If someone like Romney gets the Republican nomination, I will shun that party, as it will only prove what I already know. No "true conservative" would vote for that clown, or any like him. McCain was a perfect example last time. Hey! I'm a conservative, and I'm supporting McCain. Yea, right! No real conservative would have done such a thing. You can put a collar on a coyote, and call him Spot, but he still will steal your chickens.
Most "claiming to be conservative" needs to look up the "true definition of one" and then go get a testosterone check up. You either are, or you aren't. Supporting candidates like McCain, Romney, and the like is not being a "conservative", it's being a wavering "compromiser", willing to settle for "less than the best", RIDE THE FENCE, and then criticize those that won't settle for less, wondering why nothing changes, but instead, GETS CONTINUALLY WORSE.
I have little doubt, that this next presidential election will end no different than it usually does, and the blame game will rave on, while the "lessor of two evil crowd" blames everyone, for this country's continual slide to "third world status".
SO! IF YOU WANT "THIS CONSERVATIVE TEA-PARTIER" TO SUPPORT YOUR REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE, GET ONE THAT IS "100% CONSTITUTION" ,AND "100% BILL OF RIGHTS". NOT 40% OR 70%, BUT 100%. OTHERWISE? NOT A CHANCE. I DON'T VOTE PARTY, I VOTE CANDIDATE. ;)

I can't see any way for this country to remain free except a good old revolution. (that statement will probably get me in trouble)  Dee is correct, the percenters will be our downfall.

The more evil the alternative is, the greater is the justification for voting the lesser of two evils.  Re-election won't be just 'four more years' but rather 'for more tears'.

There is no justification for siding with evil of any level. You are either for right, or wrong, or you ride the fence, and demonstrate neither.

I have been saying the samething for a long time now. I don't want to see fighting in the streets but town hall meetings, campaign promises and voting booths aren't going to change the direction of this government. To many politicians walk a fine line between Dem's and Reps.

cannonkrazy, as I see it, that's the only answer.  I'm too old to fight but I have extra guns and plenty of ammo to hand out.

Before the revolution starts, I want to be very clear who we are supposed to revolt against.  Is it the Dumycrats (socialists/commies) and other such misfits, or everyone who is slightly left of Ron Paul.  I'm ready either way.

If the tea party supports Romney I am through with them. If they support that RINO they have become part of the problem and not the solution!

i think the tea party does it most good  in the primaries

but  once the republicans nominate someone  [hope fully the teaaparty will keep out the RINOs]

we  just just stick together and vote the lessor of 2 evils  or we get  OBUMER  again

vote for the  BEST  man  in the primaries
hopefullt he will be in the general election
THEN YOU HAVE TO DO WHAT EVER IT TAKES TO STOP THE DEMOCRAT

the tea party  knows this....i hope....sorry if you can't help
when drugs are outlawed only out laws will have drugs
DO WHAT EVER IT TAKES TO STOP A DEMOCRAT
OBAMACARE....the biggest tax hike in the  history of mankind
free choice and equality  can't co-exist
AFTER THE LIBYAN COVER-UP... remind any  democrat voters ''they sat and  watched them die''...they  told help to ''stand down''

Romney is the father of obamacare. He has no credible argument in the race. Gingrich is capable and gifted, but republicans hate him. Palin stands no chance as a candidate, and she continues to be wacky enough so that people will continue paying her huge money for appearances while making herself seem less and less appealing as a candidate. Tim pawlenty is mitt Romney without the obamacare baggage. Too timid and not competent enough. Bachmann is typecast as a tea party hysteric.

Romney has one thing the others don't have, and that's why he's the next republican candidate. He has been through a presidential race before.

Our choices are Obama and Romney. I'll take Obama and a republican congress.

Romney on gun control? You're screwed. Romney on energy? You're screwed. Romney on just about anything that matters to you? You're screwed. That's no different than Obama, except a republican congress might actually oppose Obama. They will not oppose Romney, so you're actuall less screwed with obama.

a revolution Will start if obama is reelected along with democrat control of both houses.
they would immediately start to dismantle the constitution and when we talked rebellion they would shut down the internet.
but a rebellion is the only way to return to constitutional freedom.
