hey thought yall might enjoy this, i just got a new hd camera and was trying it out so of course i wasnt gona wait for a bigger deer. plus being in school this was my first blood with my NEF 45-70. Sorry i didnt film the recovery the deer ran in the deepest darkest thickest thicket known to man so i ditched the camera, i was so wore out after dragging it out and loading it i didnt think to film it. but the best parts on film. it is in full 1080p if your internet is fast enough let me know how it looks. but if you watch it in 480p on a comp screen you really caint tell the difference. if you look at the bottom of your player you can see the resolution adjustment the right, click the arrow and select the resolution

Teddy,
Nice work. What bullet/load did you use? Where did you hit him? And of course, where's the pic of the rifle, huh?

Nice job nice video 45-70 put meat in the freezer. I assume buy the book you are in nursing school. One of the best decissions I ever made was to go back to school and become a nurse.

looks like near perfect shot placement, and I'm sure with that blood trail he didn't go very far. Great hunt, and great setup!! That's like what I want to set up on my place.

Nice... didn't know this was hunting season. Haven't hunted with 45-70 yet. I guess it does the job. What distance was it?

Good luck on the boards! The most unnerving part was when the computer screen just went blank when the test was done.
