JB,
The 22-250 should be 1:14 twist. I say should because sometimes barrels are shipped with the wrong twist for caliber.
My wife's 22-250 is very accurate with lighter bullets, about MOA @ 100 yards. It likes 36 grain Barnes VGs over Ramshot TAC. It also did well with the 45 cal factory loaded tipped bullets, Hornady and Federals if my memory is working today. With the 36 grain handloads it does best at starter loads, ie 10% below maximum.
There is a fine gentleman who lives north of the Macinaw Bridge and he says his 22-250 Handi isn't very accurate. Maybe it is just the subzero weather that is bothering his gun?

Why be difficult, when with a little extra effort you can be impossible?
