Cleaning GP141
« on: June 08, 2011, 04:51:11 PM »
 Hey guys,
After firing my GP100 I've noticed a good amount of black carbon on the forcing cone, cylinder face and inside the frame. I'm using Remington 158gr. JSP. Is anyone experiencing the same?
Thanks in advance.

All perfectly normal, and it may not be all carbon, it may be partly to mostly lead.

I assume your gun is Stainless (or you wouldn't hardly notice the black stuff).

If so, "Wipe-away" cloths will take it right off.

A "Lewis lead remover" will clean out the forcing cone.
