I recently bought a Redman liner through brownells and it came with a swaged groove at one end. does this groove need to be at one end or the other? or is it for a manufacturing reason? I cant find any info on their site or brownells. thanks DR

That's where he holds it to pull the rifling button through. Make it the chamber end.

Thank you very much! I tried pushing a tight patch through it to see if it was choked at either end but couldnt tell either way. DR
