Never really liked Newt anyway. He always seemed like he was saying what you wanted to hear but believed something else.

back in 1980 my wife and I volunteered to do his photog work.  we found that newt was a really smart man but he was the biggest jerk that ever lived.
he should have kept his first wife, maryann  (sp)

he really does have some good ideas to turn the country around.  but he's so unlikable and tends to look down his nose at folks.  it's hard to read him at times.

So far, I'm more impressed with the women (Palin, Bachmann) who are possible candidates.  My position though, is that anyone and I mean anyone would be better than the disaster we have now.  Well, I'm not so sure about the Donald.

The number one issue in our country is the economy. The average American expects an imediate correction to a serious problem. I don't believe anyone can/could have got us back to the pre-recession level in two, let alone one, terms. I think most top presidential candidates realize this and will wait til 2016 to make their move. All we're going to see in 2012 is the amateurs, junior varsity and sacrificial candidates going up against Obama.
