I just was looking on gunsamerica and noticed there were many C&R star pistols listed.  There great buys and priced right if your interested in a spanish star 9mm. There fun shooters too. CZY

In the U.S. market,  Star doesn't get the respect it deserves, they are well make guns.
The story of David & Goliath only demonstrates the superiority of ballistic projectiles over hand weapons, poor old Goliath never had a chance.

It seems to me the star and the astra pistols are well liked in europe.  I'm not sure if the new astra 1911 made by the swiss will ever catch on here in the USA.   I like my star BM in 9mm its one tough built solid little pistol.

I do agree gentlemen. I also have a Star BM and must admit it is a honey. Replacement parts can be a bit problematic though.

Have 4 Stars,a Model B Model 30 a Megastar and a 22 cal version. These along with the Tanfoglio Witnes series are/were the best values on the market.

I picked up a star B in 9mm luger, a star A in 9mm largo and the star BM in 9mm luger.  I have the astra 1921/400 in 9mm largo and the astra 600/43 in 9mm luger too.  My favorite spanish pistol is the LLama Extra in 9mm largo/38acp.  She's big and heavy and a real 1911 clone too. I just shot it and i love it.  My point is don't pass these up there good shooters too.  CZY
