BUT, we shot both firecrackers and bottlerockets, and firecrackers with bottlerockets.

Air bursts with the firecrackers.
Found expended bottle rockets in very different locations than were aimed.

great shoot I had a blast guys, I cant wait till next year, e an allen kabar made it back to poquoson and are safe and sound and too tired to unload anything so that will begin tommorrow morning. 630 miles two days. and lots of cannons, time for a day of rest.

Sounds like you folks had a Blast! Can't wait to see more pics. Quite a battery of Krupps assembled there. Faced with something like that, I can't really blame the French for not attacking the north coast of Germany in 1870!

Golf-ball hand gonne - of 1144SP assembly.
4.5" (4" PVC pipe filled with concrete).
and edge of 16-20-24oz sodapop caliber (4140 in natural rust)

These take time to sort through, edit, reduce in size to squeeze through the 'system'.

The first batch is of the equipment at the start. About half way through the first set.

Next set will be of people, then the smoke and flame.

O.K., now we know CW's modus operandi, so all the guests or lurkers have time to become members so they can see all these neat photos of the Virginia shoot. The photos of cannons and mortars are very interesting, but the ones to come of smoke and fire and targets destroyed, tree limbs sheared off and great furrows in the ground where shot and shell succumbed to the force of gravity; those are 'Members Only Pics'. So join up; it's free and only takes two or three minutes, then you finally get to see the Good Stuff!!
