weight difference between steel and alloy BLR
« on: June 12, 2011, 04:30:11 AM »
Hi Folks, I've done some searching but can't get a difinitive answer on the weight difference between steel BLR's and the newer alloy models. I'm looking at the straight wood stocked, non-takedown. New models are listed at 6 1/2lbs. Does anyone have a weight for the steel model?
Thanks, Bob

Bob,

My scales are not certified, but The steel ones I have with factory barrels are right at 7lbs. One is a belgium made and the other is a 81series.
