I want nice sights on 22 sportster???
« on: June 12, 2011, 04:51:19 PM »
anybody able to tell me sights to put on for a target rifle? stuff available at midway or brownells and the like would be nice. sight base from factory is so short, and if you push on the leaf to the right or left, it changes position slightly. nuttin' worse than sights that don't work. anyway It looks to me like I will need a higher front if  I get a rear  that will screw to the scope rail holes. I'm hoping someone else has done this, as I REALLY dont want to do the math. Thanks

The Williams FRTK makes a great rear sight, mounts right on the holes where the rear scope mounts. Check out the H&R Centerfire forum, there is a very recent post titles "Williams FPK".
I think, but haven't done, a globe front sight would be very, very neat, but it would have to be adapted somehow, AFAIK.
