Obamacare. The new face of gun registration

You go to the doctor and they ask of you have a gun in the house. Answer goes into a federal database. Bingo. Gun registration.

It'll be a misdemeanor to untruthfully answer. Then it's a felony as things escalate.

My doctor knows I have guns in the house. He's a hunter also.

Of my doctors only 1 is a hunter and shooter but they've all had me unstrap enough for exams so there are no secrets.  My dentist on the other hand always asks if I'm carrying anything new or different this trip, then shows me his latest acquisitions before we get to the business at hand.

i sold an  AR-15   to one of  my doctors

I had heard of people being ask questions at the VA, But until Friday when I went to the VA - ER I had never had such an experience. But friday the nurse ask if I had ever had thoughts of harming myself or anyone else. I replied of course not! I truly believe you had better be careful how you answer these questions. I don't think the government is asking for no reason!

If you have ever had a handgun permit , Charged a gun or ammo , got a hunting lic. etc there is a record you have a gun.

I could answer truthfully since there isn't a gun in my house - my gun safe is in the shop.  Also, throw the question back at the Dr. or nurse and just say, "Do you?".
