T/C Contender 22 Mag Octagon 10" blued bbl, like new
« on: December 31, 2003, 04:19:31 PM »
I have a 22 Mag Octagon 10" bbl blued bbl that looks like new, not even a rotating mark on it with front and rear sights.  Someone told me it could be worth more than your average bbl.  Is this true??  Is there something that would be unique that would make this more valuable??
Thx,
bearclaw

I sure hope they are worth more Bearclaw!  I have one in similar condition to yours that I got in a multi-barrel deal and have never shot.  I would not mind trading it off for some centerfire barrel if someone needs one   .  True, I not not seen any others around, but I just figured it was the area I'm in.

Look at the barrel inscription.  If TC Arms and address are on the same line, you got something(original T-1 series...500-600 dollars), if its on two lines, its worth about the same as other octagon barrels.  GOOD SHOOTIN', Walt
