Dont know why it is disappearing. I believe that it is a very good balance between pattern density, and weight. The .30 cal balls kill deer d-e-a-d! 24 per 3" 12 gauge shell are deadly in my 22" 870 with the Patternmaster tube out to around 35+/- yds, which is as far as I need a shotgun to perform on deer. Farther than that and its a carbine, rested pistol, or rifle. Great for close quarters moving shots, like when I still hunt blowdowns, or thick swamp bottoms. I cant find it anymore, so if you do, please let me know where. If you dont buy it all ,and I wil get the rest! Havent used it on hogs myself, but my older brother in Conroe Texas has, and also gives good reviews. Glad i'm not the only one who still appreciates it. Will admit that the larger pellets like 00 kill better on longer shots, but you have to really know how well your gun will pattern because there are less of them to put on target. If you are in an area that mandates buckshot and need a little more distance, maybe, but for my needs, #1 is the way to go. My 2Cents!
