I answered your question and gave you brief info why I feel that way. And Boss,,,since this is a discussion forum I'll answer anyway I see fit....save your 'yes or no' questions for your wife and kids.. You friend, casull, claims I brought outside info into the mix, but there are no rules against that and I have had a few police chiefs in my family and I happen to know that it is expected that on occassions they attend public relation building events....these are important duties. We have no idea whatsoever if this mosque has anything to do with the ever popular 'islamofacists' moniker....a term bantied about by Pman and casull alot, and apparently you. The separation of church and state idea is so crap like this doesn't happen; and I said if this guy didn't attend similar events at churches or synagoques he should likewise be reprimanded or terminated....I couldn't have made that more clear; when I wrote:

Above is why I won't be attending any 501(c) outfits... This chief needs to be cut loose and replaced with somebody who can fullfill the duties of the position, and who can separate church and state when necessary. No decent US citizen should have persons of his fanatical-extremist views in positions of power and law enforcemnet in the first place. Those persons that enforce law should be held to higher standards which exclude bigotry It just gets weirder and weirder when fanatical religious zealots think they can rule and call the shots; and pick and choose what events they approve of....such as a Police Appreciation Day not meeting this guys criteria....get rid of this guy asap and the people of Tulsa will be much better off.
This guy is very symbolic of much of the self-righteous attitudes we see here.

TM - You sure do
answer anyway you see fit, especially if you don't have a legitimate response. You usually answer questions by throwing out answers to questions, that weren't even asked.
Regarding your claim about "having had a few police chiefs in your family" -
Sorry, I don't buy it.
"It is expected that on
occassions they attend public relation building events" - While this may be true,
It is not required. Plenty of jurisdictions & chiefs have begged off on attending functions that may not have been in the best interest of the community they serve.
"This chief needs to be cut loose" - Again your statement shows that you didn't even read the article
, or if you did, you decided to ignore what was written
, and again threw out an answer that fit your needs.
