How "Chicago politics" works..

  It's really simple... Legally, a politician cannot dip into the treasury in order to finance his campaign...so he finds a way around it !
   ..He simply connects with a rich business "fat cat" who in turn becomes big fund raiser for the said politician.  The fund raiser gathers up half a million dollars for the politician's campaign.
   The newly elected prez then makes his fat cat fund raiser an ambassador to S africa...plus gives the guy's company 13.8 million dollarsd in "stimulus" money
   Now, let's review...You raise 1/2 million for my campaign...I'll GIVE your company 13 &1/2 million dollars of the taxpayer's money...

  Pretty cozy arrangement....and a 2700 % return !  How many of you would like a margin like that ?.

Another way is for the political party to make grants to organizations, such as the NEA or Planned Parenthood and then those organizations recycle the cash back to the party as contributions.
