New years eve. i bought a super 14" T/C in 44 mag. it was purchased new in 1980, i bought it in original box,original box of win. ammo,ORIGINAL bill of sale ,it had been shot 8 times,from its original owner, he paid 174.95 for the gun and 5.25 for the ammo............what was it worth,and it is in mint condition,,,,,,the only problem,when you "break it open" seems kinda hard to open to put ammo in,.........any idea's---------THANKS FOR ALL INPUT

what WAS it worth, or what IS it worth?  :?
i bought a complete used stainless 14" 44mag, with pachmayer grip and forearm, and tsob scope base, for $390 this last fall. it's in excellent condition. i'm just gonna say it's worth $400 or less to me. most likely less.
if the serial # is less than 195,000, it is not the easy open model frame. they changed hinge pin placement on later frames to provide easier opening. old model frames can be sent back to TC for this option. $55 plus shipping, i think.

KYODE, I think you meant to say the trigger guard hinge pin was moved? The barrel hinge pin is still in the same location.
